About Me

Helping you feel great again

Hello, I’m Claire

Wellness and Rehabilitation Specialist

Health and Wellbeing has always been a big part of my life.  I’ve worked in many different health related roles throughout my career. I’ve also lived with an inflammatory illness for over 15 years.  Following a life changing accident in late 2017 I decided to follow my true passions in life, stepping away from the corporate world, to being hands on therapist.

I get a chance to make a difference to the lives of others using  a fantastic combination of different therapies.  I work intuitively, so it’s very likely that your treatment will be a combination of different therapeutic techniques.

It’s a great privilege to combine these techniques together to guide and support you in restoring your balance.  It’s not unusual to find that your pain often comes from something seemingly unrelated such as a scar, bump on the head or dental work.

When I’m not in clinic, I’m a regular normal person who mountain bikes and swims long distances.

My approach

My work is likely to be very different to many other therapists that you have worked with. I work with more than just where you feel pain, I work with the whole you and your nervous system to help identify the root cause of your problems.

This means looking at all the different things that have and do cause stress in your life.  Stressors will be different for all of us, they can be complex and multi layered incorporating everything from structural and biomechanical, to internal electrical issues, hormone related or even emotional.

Eventually you’ll receive some warning signs that things aren’t right – most commonly it is pain.  Pain is your body’s way of letting you know that something isn’t right.  It’s quite common for there to be a close link between unresolved trauma and pain.  Learning how to listen and hear what your body is telling you is empowering & life changing.
